NON-FOOD - Reinforcement

Armature - composite nonmetallic reinforcement

Armature - composite nonmetallic reinforcement:

  • Fiberglass ( fiberglass nonmetallic reinforcement RNF);
  • Basalt and plastic ( basalt and plastic nonmetallic reinforcement RNB);
  • High modulus basalt and plastic (high modulus basalt and plastic nonmetallic reinforcement RNB HM).

Armature composite nonmetallic reinforcement is manufactured from glass or basalt continuous fiber of high durability using modified epoxy joining method of jet less broaching “plain trusion” with a double spiral winding of the opposite directions. When using this technology a rhombus-shaped periodic profile is formed on external surface of the reinforcement, the profile provides reliable adhesion of a textured spiral winding with a reinforcement power-bearing bar. A unique double winding enhances strength performance of the product.

Recommended range of application:
    •    Construction and maintenance of concrete constructions used in aggressive and non aggressive environments;
    •    Changing high durability metallic reinforcement and ropes in the constructions with pre-stressing tendons;
    •    Concrete products used on an elastic foundation (ground work, pavement slabs, berthing facilities and dwarf walls etc.);
    •    Flexible connections for multilevel brick and concrete constructions.
Brief description:
    •    Rupture strength over the range of σВ = 1250 – 1850 N/mm2 with a regulated elasticity modulus over the range of ЕР = 70 000 – 200 000 N/mm2;
    •    Strong corrosion resistance, including alkaline environment of the concrete;
    •    Weight 4 times less than steel weight;
    •    Low thermal conductivity;
    •    Service life over 80 years;
    •    Diameters manufactured 4 – 14 mm.
